Details Client NameVeterans evaluation services - Durango Job TypeTravel OfferingLocums ProfessionPhysicians SpecialtyGeneral Medicine Job ID30016560 Job TitleLocum - Physician - Traumatic Brain Injury/General Medicine CO Weekly Pay$5488.0 Shift Details ShiftDay - 8x4 - 07AM Scheduled Hours32 Job Order Details Start Date01/13/2025 End Date04/14/2025 Duration13 Week(s) Job Description Job Title: Physician Job Specialty: Traumatic Brain Injury and General Medicine Job Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 8x4 hours Day Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Not specified License: Active and unrestricted full license in the designated state Certifications: Board Certified; DMA certification required post-onboarding Must-Have: - Proficiency in METs testing, and evaluating and diagnosing respiratory, cardiovascular, and neurological conditions- Own personal laptop (excluding Mac/Apple products) Job Description: - Perform a combination of General Medicine and Traumatic Brain Injury exams on a PRN basis- Must be Board Certified in specialties such as Neurology, Neurosurgery, or Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation- Conduct one-time non-treatment exams and separation health assessments- Engage in exams that are primarily interview-based with some physical assessments, including range of motion and muscle strength testing- Use a Goniometer for evaluations- Be familiar with musculoskeletal, diabetes, and cardiovascular assessments- No prescribing or treatment is required- Quick credentialing onboarding process- Complete the DMA certification (CME credits) once privileged, if not already certified- Submit Reporting/Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) within 48 hours upon exam completion- Engage in regular follow-up administrative work, including addendums, medical opinions, and diagnostic readings- Participate in training sessions for all reporting and DBQs- Complete required training and onboarding process, including VA required DMA certifications and provider orientation materialsCandidates must be willing to work in areas within 50 miles of the facility and open to potential travel to other locations for case assistance if needed.
