Full day is 4-8 hours.Guaranteed Hours: Not specifiedExperience: Minimum years of experience not specifiedLicense: Must have an active and unrestricted full licenseCertifications: Board Certified in Neurology, Neurosurgery, or PMR, DMA certification availableMust-Have: - Proficiency in METs testing, evaluating, and diagnosing respiratory, cardiovascular, and neurological conditions- Own a personal laptop (no Mac/Apple products)- Ability to complete DMA training and obtain certification if not already certifiedJob Description:- Perform a combination of General Medicine and Traumatic Brain Injury exams - Conduct interviews and some physical assessments including range of motion, muscle strength, and evaluation of traumatic brain injuries- No prescribing or treatment involved; focus on one-time non-treatment CP exams and separation health assessments - Complete standardized forms for exams, which must be submitted within 48 hours upon exam completion- Required record review in most cases- Regular follow-up administrative work, including addendums, medical opinions, and reading diagnostics- Use a Goniometer; familiarize with musculoskeletal, diabetes, and cardio conditions - Participate in quick credentialing and onboarding process- Opportunity to travel and perform exams within a facility or schedule veterans within your own practice- Optional up-front QA session offered for live review of first exam reports - Comprehensive training provided for all Reporting/Disability Benefits Questionnaires- Willingness to work weekends if desired/needed- Potential for travel to other areas to assist with cases; travel expenses reimbursed per guidelinesNote: The client may terminate an assignment with 48 hours' notice in writing, with or without cause.
