Job Description & Requirements Specialty: General Surgery Discipline: Physician Assistant Duration: 13 weeks Employment Type: Locum Tenens Job Details: • Pay: $115 Hr. • Coverage: ASAP – Ongoing • 24 hour shift, 8 am to 8 am (inhouse REGULAR working hours, not call) • Dates: 10/4, 10/11, 10/13, 10/14, 10/19, 10/21, 10/23, 10/24, 10/25, 10/30, 10/31 • Need someone experienced in Trauma at a Level 2 to Level 1 hospital. • Will need to be able to do procedures. • 24 hours of physician coverage; 7a-7p, 7p-7a • Patients per shift: 24-26 • EMR: Athena, Cerner • Credentialing timeframe: 30-60 days-Temp Privilege Available Requirements: • Active unrestricted CA License • Active ATLS, ACLS, & BLS certifications • Minimum 3 years of experience • Board Certified • Full-time coverage is mandatory—no deviations from the requested schedule will be accepted. • Must be able to provide at least 2 supervisory references.
