Lodge Custodian
Food and Beverage Description
The Lodge Custodian position helps create an excellent experience for guests by maintaining a clean and safe environment in the Bogus Basin lodge areas. This is a seasonal position.
* Updating the lodge with new and up coming projects
* Responsible for maintaining a neat and clean condition of all assigned areas including but not limited to, picking up trash, emptying garbage containers, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and cleaning windows.
* Clean and restock bathrooms, reporting any maintenance issues to the appropriate staff.
* Clear walkways, steps, decks, and doorways of snow and ice.
* Maintain a professional attitude toward guest and staff.
* Promote safety by following safe practices and reporting any unsafe conditions or situations.
* Assist guests with any questions or problems that they may have, if unable to provide assistance, seek help of supervisor and/or manager

Perform other related tasks, as necessary.
Requirements
Passionate about the Bogus Basin Mission.
Ability to perform tasks in a timely accurate manner, with or without supervision.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Employee is frequently required to stand, balance, walk, and reach with hands and arms.
Employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch.
The employee must occasionally lift, move, and/or support up to 35 lbs.
Manual dexterity to perform basic janitorial functions such as stocking and cleaning.
**Working Conditions**
Restaurant environment, both indoors and outdoors.
May be exposed to inclement weather.
