To unload logs from trucks and load logs onto log deck using a wheeled log loader. The hourly rate of pay for this position is $25.08.Key Activities:
- Must be able to obtain a forklift license
- Must complete the daily checklist on equipment according to the Mobile Equipment Procedure
- Must safely operate wheeled log loader
- Must safely operate a knuckle boom high lift stacker
- Able to unload log trucks and properly place logs on debarker infeed decks
- Sort, stack, and transfer logs to proper locations in the log storage area
- Check and monitor fluid levels, wash down, and clean machine daily
Requirements:
- High school diploma or G.E.D. required
- Forklift license required
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
- Ability to make decisions quickly
