Reports To: Tree Care Operations Manager
JOB SUMMARY: The Heavy Equipment Operator is responsible for operating various equipment, completing related assignments with precision and efficiency, and ensuring the proper care and use of maintenance equipment.

- Operate various equipment for related assignments
- Ability to read and comprehend AWM for various equipment
- Ensure proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices
- Load and unload equipment from trailers
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance at work and meetings

JOB REQUIREMENTS:- Valid applicable CDL with air brake endorsement and clean driving record required
- Must have valid First-Aid and CPR cards or be willing to obtain one
- Ability to operate a skid steer and other small equipment
- Experience operating heavy equipment
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:- Ability to reach, climb, kneel, lift (up to 100 lbs.) and walk for extended periods of time
- Ability to work outside of normal work schedule
- Ability to read, write and speak English sufficient to perform job duties and to interact and communicate with employees and vendors
