Job Summary

The Account Manager is responsible for managing the daily operations of assigned logistics accounts. Those responsibilities would include accepting and arranging loads, customer communication, and overall account success. Also responsible for meeting internal and customer KPIs and securing new business opportunities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

* Develops and maintains client relationships and understands the clients business/industry.

* Works closely with sales to onboard and develop clients.

* Demonstrate ability to quote and negotiate new business with existing clients directly and utilizing spot boards

* Load building and updating.

* Client appointment scheduling via TMS web portals.

* Tracks and traces loads

* Quarterly and/or yearly business reviews depending on client needs.

* Assists with Accounts Receivables; maintain payment terms.

* Maintains a clear understanding of growth potential, total spend and volume vs Hogan wallet share.

* Work in team environment and support team members

* Other duties as determined by management.

Requirements

* Bachelors degree preferred.

* 3-5 years experience required. 3PL, logistics, transportation experience preferred.

* Proficient in Microsoft products including Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams.

* TMS or McLeod experience a plus.

* Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail.

* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
