Job Qualifications and General DutiesLogistics Analysts are responsible for multiple logistical tasks; they must have a comprehensive knowledge of governing regulations, policies, procedures, and instructions in the areas of Asset Visibility, GCSS-A (all Logistic Modules), DTS (Defense Travel System), Decision Support Tool (DST), GPC (government purchase card), LIW application suite, Logistics Data Analysis Center (LDAC), or other applicable Logistics Information Systems (LIS). Analyze audit requirements, cross-reference multiple source documents, coordinate with owning units, provide guidance and timelines for data submission, and validate data before submission to higher headquarters.Comprehensive knowledge of Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-A), Army Enterprise Systems Integration Program (AESIP), Logistics Information Warehouse (LIW), governing regulations, policies, and procedures.Pull GCSS-Army logistics reports and present the data in a format consistent with Battalion and senior level G-Staff formats.Gain access to Army Logistics Information Systems not previously mentioned to provide logistics data, information papers, and logistics operation orders to the HHBN XVIII ABN Corps S-4 and senior-level Staff.Thorough proficiency in Microsoft Suite products, with extensive knowledge of Excel to analyze and manipulate data in multiple formats and outputs.Extremely analytical and detail-oriented to maintain a high level of data integrity.Possess appropriate verbal and written communication skills to conduct meetings, execute plans, and prepare reports/operation orders and working instructions.Experience in the analysis of CSDP and CMDP, including shortcomings and development of corrective recommendations to Unit Commanders.Access to deployment information such as dates, units, equipment, and locations.
