Wieland is hiring a Logistics and Customer Care Specialist. The Logistics and Customer Care Specialist will be responsible for running the complete logistics system of the company, while also being the day-to-day front-line contact with customers.
This role is located in Delaware, OH and will be fully on-site
Responsibilities
Logistics and Customer Care Specialist Responsibilities:
* Operative support to the creation of a comprehensive logistics system.
* Manage all inbound and outbound shipments, including imports from parent company.
* Seeks resolution to issues relating to incoming and outgoing shipments.
* Prepares and arranges for freight pickups which can include repackaging, handling of products, preparation of packing lists.
* Processes orders, changes, adjustments, and accurately loads into company`s system.
* Communicates to customer acknowledgement of the order.
* Answers and addresses customer inquiries in addition to communicating any possible delays.
* Maintains up-to-date customer profiles in company`s system.
* Prepares and sends invoices in a timely fashion.
* Primary internal point of contact for customer after sales.
Logistics and Customer Care Specialist Qualifications:
* 4+ years of experience in logistics with international network, preferably with customer service.
* High School Diploma Required.
* Associate or Bachelor's degree in Business or Logistics preferred.
* Strong computer skills in Excel and Word required.
* Ability to form positive relationships with internal & external customers.
* Problem-solving skills.
* Detail oriented.
* Knowledge of QuickBooks a plus.
* Italian language knowledge a plus.
