Logistics and Distribution Associate/Food Services Assistant - Ephrata Hospital - DaysLocation: WellSpan Health, Ephrata, PASchedule: Full TimeFull time (80 hours biweekly)Monday - Friday 7am - 330pmWeekend and holiday rotationWeekend hours vary from 6A-2:30P and 10:30A-7P in the cafeteriaGeneral SummaryPerforms a variety of duties in connection with receiving, storing and distribution of foodstuffs.Duties and Responsibilities **(Has Essential Food Services Responsibilities as well)Essential Functions:+ Performs tasks relative to receiving, inspecting, storing, distributing and delivering of various foodstuffs and supplies ordered.+ Receives incoming materials, supplies, and equipment and compares information on packing slip with purchase order to verify accuracy of shipment.+ Loads or unloads material, equipment, merchandise or supplies from automobiles, trucks or other vehicles.+ Detects and takes corrective action concerning defective and damaged merchandise and reports unusual conditions to supervisor.Common Expectations:+ Maintains established policies and procedures, objectives, quality assessment and safety standards.+ Participates in educational programs and in-service meetings.+ Provides outstanding service to all customers; fosters teamwork; and practices fiscal responsibility through improvement and innovation.Required for All Jobs:+ Performs other related duties as identified.+ WellSpan Health has adopted and implemented a compliance program to support WellSpan's values and standards for professionalism, integrity, and ethics.
