We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Supervisor to oversee the production of our potting mixes, container media bases, and shredded pine bark mulches. The Supervisor will be responsible for managing daily operations, ensuring product quality, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervision and Leadership:
- Lead and supervise a team of production workers, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations.
Production Management:
- Oversee the production process to ensure that products meet quality standards and specifications.
Safety and Compliance:
- Enforce safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
Experience:
- Minimum of 1 years of experience in a supervisory role in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Experience in the production of potting mixes, container media bases, and/or mulches is highly preferred.
Skills and Abilities:
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Knowledge of production processes, quality control, and safety standards.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve production issues efficiently.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and move materials up to 20 pounds.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including standing for long periods and performing repetitive tasks.
