Title: Logistics Coordinator/ Operations Administrator

Reports To: Director of Operations

Employee Class: Non-Exempt

General Hours: Monday to Friday; 9AM- 5PM

Additional night and weekend hours may be occasionally needed

This is a non-exempt position and eligible for overtime if the employee works over 40 hours in one week

Company Overview: SoilAir Selection is an importer and distributor of international boutique fine wines serving on/off-premise markets in NY, NJ, PA, and CT.

Job Overview: SoilAir Selection is looking for a capable individual to join its rapidly growing wine wholesale team based in New York City. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are necessary qualifications, as well as great verbal and written communication skills. This position will play an integral role in the day-to-day operation of our administrative business activities. This position will coordinate and analyze SoilAir s supply chain and pricing, as well as support distribution efforts across the tri-state area.

Responsibilities and Duties:

- Manage the entire life cycle of our product; acquisition, distribution, allocation, and delivery to the consumer. Monitor transportation, inventory, purchasing, and warehousing using software systems specifically designed to manage logistical functions.

- Work with the administrative team of SoilAir Selection s NY, NJ, PA, & CT markets assuring that the orders are delivered correctly and on time.

-Responsible for compliance with licenses and permits in various NY, NJ, PA, CT, CA.

-Supervise accurate inventory counts and maintenance of all the warehouses.

-Maintain item price lists every month in all applicable states with margins, and submitting price postings to state regulatory bodies.

-Establish clear and concise communication with sales representatives/clients/warehouse to ensure a smooth partnership

- Perform other work-related duties and special projects as assigned

Qualifications

Strong analytical skills

Excellent written/verbal communication

Strong self-starting/motivational skills; entrepreneurial spirit

Quick thinking and resourceful

Sense of urgency and ability to engage people in a positive manner

Experience in logistics and warehouse management

ERP systems proficiency; experience with NetSuite is a plus

Strong Microsoft Office, Excel, phone, and computer skills

Education: Bachelor s Degree preferred

Experience: Minimum 2 years; Hospitality, logistics, and wine/spirits experience preferred

Personal Characteristics: Detail-oriented, organized thinker, highly motivated, entrepreneurial spirit

Physical abilities: Able to lift 40 pounds, operate a keyboard, able to stand and sit for prolonged periods of time
