Job Title: Logistics and Support Manager / UAS Flight Ops Specialist Company Overview: Raven Advisory is a leading organization dedicated to revolutionizing training methodologies for modern warfighters. Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Logistics and Support Manager / UAS Flight Ops Specialist to join our team. This multi-role position requires a unique blend of logistics expertise and proficiency in UAS flight operations. The successful candidate will coordinate logistics activities while ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our drone fleet. The Logistics and Support Manager will also support additional tasks as directed by the business unit and company leadership. These tasks may include but are not limited to, operational planning, role player support to other Raven BUs, vehicle maintenance and tracking, support to Raven training operations, facilities maintenance and construction, weapons training and maintenance, demolitions operational support, maritime support, etc. Key Responsibilities: Logistics Management: Oversee and manage all aspects of logistics, including inventory, procurement, transportation, and warehousing of UAS equipment and supplies. Develop and implement logistics policies and procedures to optimize supply chain operations. Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality of UAS components. Track and analyze logistics performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and cost reduction. UAS Flight Operations: Plan, coordinate, and execute UAS flight operations in accordance with company policies and regulatory standards Conduct pre-flight and post-flight inspections to ensure aircraft readiness and adherence to safety protocols Maintain flight records, logs, and compliance documentation Develop and refine flight mission plans to optimize operational outcomes Team Leadership: Upon growth of Raven Technologies, lead and manage a team of UAS operators and logistics personnel while fostering a culture of professionalism, safety, and continuous improvement Provide training and professional development for team members aligned with business unit and company objectives Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all UAS operations comply with relevant aviation regulations and industry standards Stay informed about UAS regulatory changes and implement necessary adjustments Customer Support: Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and tailor logistics and operational solutions accordingly Provide technical support and training to clients on UAS operations and logistics Business Development: Attend industry trade shows and conferences as needed Attend meetings with potential partners and clients Assist with building quotes for clients for facility usage, training, and operational support Qualifications: Proven experience in logistics management, UAS operations, or a combination of both Strong knowledge of UAS technology and FAA regulations concerning drone operations Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities Certification as an FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot required Personal Attributes: Exceptional leadership and team-building capabilities High level of dependability and integrity with impeccable work ethic Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds Open-minded and adaptable to new ideas, culture, and perspectives Benefits: Salary package Health Benefits Matching 401K Professional Development opportunities
