Valdese Weavers offers a positive, productive, and progressive environment, along with excellent benefits.2nd shift - 3:00pm to 11:00pmJob Summary: Schedule open production orders for specified looms for maximum weaveroom efficiency while striving to meet customer required ship dates.Essential Functions:Review open production orders by hierarchyAssign production orders to appropriate looms dailyArrange orders on looms by suitability codes and component availabilityRelease orders to maintain continuous loom operationSchedule warp changes as needed for efficiency and timelinessCommunicate filling and warp needs to appropriate areas in a timely manner.Work with weave room to resolve issues with loom/pattern assignmentsPerform other duties as assignedPosition RequirementsSafety:Perform all duties in a safe manner following guidelines established by Valdese Weavers.Report all job-related injuries and safety hazards to the supervisor immediately.Actively participate in safety programs that identify, investigate, and correct safety hazards.Maintain 5S standards.PPE as required by policy and guidelines.Qualifications:Meet all pre-employment requirements.Basic reading, writing, and math skills as required by the position.Good communication skills with the ability to work well with othersComputer knowledge including SAP and spreadsheetsAbility to work in a fast paced environmenFull-Time/Part-TimeFull-TimeShiftSecondExempt/Non-ExemptNon-ExemptLocationPerkins Rd.
