LHH has partnered with a company in the Food & Beverage industry in Rockford, MI and is looking for a Logistics Clerk to join their team in a contract-to-hire role. This position will be fully onsite Monday Friday 8:00am-5:00pm. Responsibilities:
- Schedule appointments and manage transportation paperwork
- Record lot codes on bills of lading
- Confirm outbound shipments in Dynamics
- Complete customer-required ASNs
- Forward BOLs for bulk and international shipments
- Confirm receipt of transfers with forwarding warehouses
- Route orders for major retailers
- Deliver shipping and receiving paperwork to accounting daily
- Participate in safety programs and SQF teams
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Supply Chain Manager
- Enter and monitor warehouse transfers
- Investigate and dispute freight fines
- Store items in warehouses, freezers, and other areas
- Operate forklifts to transport and store materials
- Inspect and document trailers, raw materials, and finished products
- Prepare and record shipping and receiving documents
- Use Device Magic Mobile Forms App for shipment documentation
- Verify accuracy of shipments against records
- Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies
- Deliver materials to departments using hand trucks
- Clean and maintain storage areas, ensuring compliance with safety regulations
- Report shipping and receiving deviations to supervisors or QA department
Qualifications:
- High school degree; Associates or Bachelors Degree is a plus
- Minimum one year experience working in a logistics, shipping, receiving, or data entry role (or related fields)
- Strong organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Pay Details: $19.00 to $21.00 per hour
