As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Construction Logistics Coordinator ) to join our team and help ensure our projects run smoothly and efficiently. Role Overview: As a Construction Logistics Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the construction process, acting as a bridge between clients, site supervisors, and our team. You'll report directly to the VP of Operations, ensuring close coordination with leadership while managing critical administrative and logistical tasks. While this is not a managerial role, your position is integral to project success, and you will work closely with the VP to ensure the smooth operation of all assigned projects. Key Responsibilities: Assist with the permitting process for construction projects, ensuring all necessary paperwork and approvals are in place. Act as a liaison between clients and site supervisors, helping to bridge communication gaps regarding client selections and ensure project timelines are met. Manage purchasing of materials such as doors, windows, and other essential items needed for the project, coordinating with suppliers and tracking orders. Help coordinate project logistics, ensuring that materials and resources are available when needed. Support site supervisors with scheduling and tracking tasks to ensure smooth daily operations on the job site (mainly ensuring deliveries arrive as needed and that client selections are on site to keep the job on schedule). Maintain clear communication with clients and internal teams, keeping everyone informed of project progress and changes. Organize and maintain project-related documentation and records, ensuring all materials and permits are properly documented. Handle administrative tasks related to the project, such as scheduling meetings and ensuring project timelines are adhered to. What We're Looking For: Strong organizational skills : Ability to manage multiple tasks, track deadlines, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills : Comfort in liaising with clients, site supervisors, and internal teams. You should be comfortable handling communication across various channels (phone, email, in-person). Problem-solving mindset : Ability to anticipate potential issues and come up with effective solutions to keep things on track. Attention to detail : Accurate record-keeping, managing permits, and ensuring materials are correctly ordered and delivered on time. Ability to multitask : You'll be handling various parts of the project at once, so being able to juggle multiple responsibilities without getting overwhelmed is essential. Team player : You'll work closely with the construction and project management teams, so a cooperative attitude and willingness to contribute to a team environment are key. Construction or logistics experience (preferred but not required): Any prior experience in the construction industry or logistics will be a bonus, but we are happy to train the right person.
