A Major Japanese Food Company is looking for a logistics coordinator to join their team!
Position: Logistics coordinatorIndustry: Major Japanese food companyLocation: Somerset, NJ (In Person)Status: Full time with benefitsWork Hours: 7AM-4PM Monday- Friday 40hr/wk OT Required
Responsibilities:• Arrange and coordinate the transportation schedule of goods and materials from suppliers to the organization's facilities or customers.• Work with carriers, freight forwarders, and logistics service providers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.• Prepare and maintain accurate shipping and logistics documentation, including bills of lading, shipping labels, and customs documentation for international shipments.• Ensure that basic logistics documentation is in compliance with company and regulatory standards.• Provide updates on the status of shipments and deliveries to relevant stakeholders.• Communicate with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams to coordinate logistics activities and address any issues or delays.• Coordinate with teams in monitoring and managing inventory levels• Collaborate with other team to support audits process.
Skills and Qualification:• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management or business related.• Proficient at Microsoft office• Preferred 1year logistic experience with NetSuite system.• Time management and solution-oriented mindset• Ability to lift to 40lbs.
