Under the guidance of the Customer Service Lead, this position is responsible for bridging the gap between production and customers. Some other areas included are manufacturing, freight management, inventory control, and planning.The position ensures the smooth transition of products through the Supply Chain by ensuring on time shipments and deliveries, ensuring shipment contents and documentation are accurate, and maintaining accurate and reliable material inventories through controlled processes.ResponsibilitiesMonitor all movements of material to keep track of inventory levels.Conduct and mitigate demand changes with customers and production plannersReconcile accums (shipped vs received quantities between customers and internal systems)Coordinate with warehouse to ensure customer shipments are booked and picked up on time.Regularly analyze system inventories to ensure that all systems reflect accurate inventory.Build, maintain, and analyze Excel reports to help visualize Supply Chain constraintsOrder management: work proactively with Customers and Program Managers to ensure material is shipped on time and any bottlenecks are mitigated without disruption to customers.Provide documentation to customs brokers and/or customers for material crossing international borders.Perform matching procedure for incoming material and approve invoices for supplier paymentCommunicate clearly and regularly with global locations regarding build schedules and shipping plans.Utilize customer web-based systems to retrieve forecasts, fulfill customer requirements, and to ensure that all shipments are recorded accurately within various systems.Develop and maintain Customer relationships that result in on time delivery and fast recovery times with effective communication.Assist Finance with reconciling issues regarding shipments and costs.Maintain transparency with internal team.Provide suggestions to management for process improvements and/or cost savings.Actively participate in continuous improvement initiativesProblem solving and root cause analysisHandle multiple projects at the same timeEscalate any possible issues to the Customer Service Leader and/or Director of Supply Chain.RequirementsAssociates degree in business, Supply Chain or related discipline, or equivalent work experienceMinimum of 2 years of experience working in Supply Chain in the Automotive Industry, or 5+ years in other industriesDemonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; demonstrated expertise in utilizing Excel for managing data, analyzing data and creating reportsFamiliarity with ERP systems and Excel-based planning systemsFTZ experience not required but welcomedJob Type: Full-timePay: $48,000.00 - $60,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceEmployee assistance programEmployee discountFlexible scheduleFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceHealth savings accountLife insurancePaid time offRelocation assistanceRetirement planVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftDay shiftMonday to FridayWork Location: Hybrid remote in Tanner, AL 35671
