LOGISTICS COORDINATOR - DOWNINGTOWN, PA

Our client is a recognized leader in the Specialty Chemicals industry and prides itself in its people, service and superior environmentally friendly products. Their continued expansion has allowed them to add a Logistics Coordinator to their company-leading (nationally) Production facility in Downingtown, PA area consisting of around 12 - 18 team members.

The Downingtown facility services customers all over the Greater Philadelphia area. The Ideal Candidate will possess the following:

• Interpersonal skills (highly communicative)
• Works with sales and operations teams - blenders, drivers, Operations Manager—working as a team daily
• Inventory Management
• Works with vendors to order and receive equipment/items promptly
• Managing driver workload
• Develop a delivery schedule based on our technology (tank monitoring) while utilizing knowledge from drivers and Operations Manager
• Forecasting delivery runs to meet demand
• Printing paperwork: Bill of Lading and Delivery Tickets for all runs (daily task)
• Direct report to the Operations Manager

The ideal candidate will have experience with DOT or shipping experience is a major plus, but not required. This person must be highly motivated and willing to switch gears throughout the day based on demand. We want a highly organized person to grow with our increasing demand for new and existing customers.

What We Offer:

• $65,000 - $75,000 base salary to start
