Job Description:

Adecco is recruiting a full-time Logistics Coordinator in Secaucus, NJ. With a diverse offering of made-to-order products, including intimate apparel for men and women, activewear, socks, and clothing for kids and babies. Our client takes pride in contributing to the success of major retailers and leading fashion brands worldwide.

This role is hybrid 4 days per week in Secaucus, NJ. Please only local candidates apply.

Responsibilities:

  • Track inbound air and ocean freight to ensure timely delivery to the destination.
  • Maintain a database and update inbound shipments as necessary.
  • Communicate effectively with key customers to confirm orders and provide updates as needed.
  • Collaborate closely with internal and external business partners to ensure smooth freight movement from origin to destination.
  • Coordinate with vendors, brokers, freight forwarders, and external partners to ensure timely delivery of all shipments.
  • Assist internal stakeholders and resolve shipment issues and complaints.
  • Compile and manage shipment documentation, records, and digital databases.
  • Update internal systems as required.
  • Maintain Advanced Shipment Notification (ASN) for import files to ensure CBP compliance, ensuring all necessary documents are included, such as invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, entry summaries, and proofs of delivery.
  • Review all bills from customs brokers, truckers, forwarders, and steamship lines.
  • Identify documents sent by the shipper for ASN, ETA, and warehouse processing.
  • Respond via email to shipment status inquiries from production, planning, sales, and warehouse teams.
  • Maintain manual reports requested by sales for specific accounts.
  • Assist with the import booking process when needed.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in international ocean and air freight.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to focus for long periods.

Ideal Candidate:

  • 3+ years of experience in supply chain and logistics.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to multitask, stay organized, and remain detail-oriented.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and Outlook).
  • Experience with SAP, M3, MoveX, GT Nexus, or other enterprise systems preferred.
  • Capable of solving business problems with forward-thinking solutions.
  • Ability to serve the business efficiently and proactively.
  • Experience with implementing world-class best practices and a continuous improvement mindset.
