Hayes Manufacturing is looking for a Logistics Coordinator at our Fife Lake, MI location. The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for working within the Operations team to coordinate the flow of goods between our factory and customers and affiliates (domestic and overseas), applying logistics and lean principles to all areas of responsibility.

What You'll Do:

  • Coordinate the processing and scheduling of outbound shipments.
  • Develop and maintain positive communication with our external customers.
  • Communicate with domestic and international freigh tcompanies, factories, distribution centers, vendors, and suppliers to ensure the accurate and timely delivery of goods.
  • Research and ensure coordination and import compliance with state, federal, and international regulations.
  • Prepare import/export shipment paperwork for US and International Customs agencies.
  • Audit shipping invoices and duties paperwork to ensure proper billing before processing by Accounts Payable.
  • Provide daily direction to the facility Lift Truck Driver.

What You'll Need:

  • Minimum one year of administrative supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment
  • 1-2 years of experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
  • Proficient computer knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook,and database software.
  • Strong administrative skills with exceptional organizational ability.
  • Strong Problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented mindset.
  • Strong ethical conduct. Ability to handle sensitive information in confidence.
  • Strong verbal and written communication proficiency.
  • Results-driven mindset with proven ability to be flexible to changing priorities.
  • Strong self-initiative and able to work independently and with others.
  • Friendly and customer-focused attitude.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

What Helps:

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field preferred (i.e., Supply Chain Management, ASCM Certification) or 3 - 5 years of equivalent experience.
