Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the end-to-end logistics processes, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods and services. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a solid understanding of supply chain management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and oversee the entire logistics process, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.
  • Schedule and track shipments to ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Communicate with suppliers, carriers, and customers to resolve any issues or delays.
  • Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory levels, and other logistics-related data.
  • Monitor and analyze logistics performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Prepare and present reports on logistics activities, including cost analysis and performance evaluations.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
  • Manage and negotiate contracts with logistics providers and other third parties.
  • Implement and maintain effective logistics procedures and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience in logistics or supply chain roles, with a strong understanding of logistics processes and systems.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations and compliance requirements.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with ERP systems.
  • Certification in logistics or supply chain management (e.g., APICS, CLTD).
  • Knowledge of international logistics and customs regulations.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Occasionally required to lift and carry items up to 25 lbs.
