Job Overview:
- Monitor and update shipment orders through IT enterprise systems.
- Track and trace shipments from origin to the final destination by updating each key milestone and checklist.
- Communicate effectively with vendors (service partners and airlines/carriers) to ensure that the needs of customers are being satisfied consistently.
- To work collaboratively with Customer Service, Customer service managers (CRM) and the Commercial (BD) team to ensure maximum client satisfaction.
Position Responsibilities:
- Provide shipment-specific processing and timely communication of order updates
- Track and trace shipments thru alarm management and checkpoint verification at
- key milestones
- Manage and monitor vendor network activities to comply with the agent
- operating procedures
- Work in a collaborative team environment with Customer Service and other
- department that ensures maximum client satisfaction.
- Escalate all client issues to the management team as required.
- Ensure accuracy of shipment documentation and compliance with all country regulations as well as quality management systems (ISO, GDP) that includes standard operating procedures and policies.
Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
- Reliability and Dependability (primary)
- Computer proficiency (Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook)
- Basic math knowledge
- Excellent phone, writing, and time management skills
- Ability to work successfully under pressure
- Decision-making ability
- Flexibility- must be able to work off-hour schedules (ie, other than 9-5 Mon to Fri) as well as some holidays when requested.
