As a Procurement & Logistics Specialist, you will play a critical role in helping us supply products to a global customer base. In this role, you will be responsible for performing accurate and timely delivery planning tasks to meet customer requirements.

  • Validate pricing of sales deals
  • Accurately order equipment from our vendors using many different portals and tools
  • Track shipments and update customers
  • Maintain good working relationships with our vendor partners and customers
  • Deal with sales issues as they arise
  • Validate the accuracy of orders through Salesforce using customer and vendor quotes
  • Ensure all shipping contacts are correct in Salesforce and be responsible for maintenance
  • Manage knowledge library and become an expert relative to procurement and logistics process
  • Interact with sales reps and leadership to answer questions
  • Create dashboards and reports within systems to communicate data to end users
  • Improve processes and controls
  • Identify and seize opportunities to improve efficiencies
  • Assist team members with special projects as needed
  • Other tasks as they arise
Desired Skills and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree required in Business Administration or other related area (Accounting, Communications, Marketing, Agriculture Management, Finance, Sports and Rec Management, etc.)
  • Entry level or a couple years of experience
  • Experience in the privately held technology industry a plus, but not required
  • Experience with Salesforce, Intacct, Office Suite a huge plus, but not required
  • Prefer technically savvy with expert understanding of Office Suite, particularly Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, macros, etc.)
  • Comfort with Google applications (Google Docs, Gmail, Drive, Calendar, etc.) good to have
  • Attention to detail, numbers oriented and good time management skills
  • Outstanding communication and multitasking skills
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
  • Desire to learn and understand the business process from beginning to end
  • Strong work ethic with respect for work/life balance and positive work environment
  • Good people skills and strong backbone to stand firm in a sales-centric environment
  • Positive can-do attitude
