Position Title: Logistics CoordinatorWage: $19.00 - $21.00/Hour Shift: 1st ShiftHours: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM OR 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM Monday - FridayWe are looking for several Logistics Coordinators for a warehouse in Cedar Rapids to manage freight orders, schedule deliveries, and coordinate with supply chain partners. The ideal candidate will excel in problem-solving and thrive in a fast-paced environment.Logistics Coordinator Responsibilities:- Provide exceptional service to facility customers- Schedule inbound and outbound delivery appointments- Oversee the flow of paperwork between the shipping, receiving office, and warehouse- Check in drivers and direct them to designated doors for unloading/loading- Remove and place seals on trailer doors as needed- Maintain and track delivery appointments to ensure timely operations- Resolve customer issues and address any conflicts related to deliveries- Maintain and update load and order status in the Transportation Management System (TMS)- Handle claims related to overages, shortages, or damages- Respond promptly to customer inquiries and provide necessary information- Maintain and monitor customer KPI scorecards to track service performanceRequirements For Logistics Coordinator:- High School Diploma or equivalent; customer service experience preferred- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office- SAP Experience is preferred- Excellent communication and organizational skills- Detail-oriented with the ability to work effectively in a team- Demonstrated customer service experience in a business-to-business environmentQPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the Midwest.
