Position: Logistics Coordinator

Location: St. Louis, MO 63141

Hours: 7 AM - 4 PM or 8 AM - 5 PM

Pay Rate: $22-25/hr depending on experience

Job Responsibilities:

• Understand transportation industry processes, documentation, and terminology.
• Coordinate customer shipment requests and assign/dispatch carriers using the Transportation Management System (TMS) and other resources.
• Responsible for dispatching, routing, and tracking all domestic transportation modes.
• Provide customer rate quotes and negotiate rates with carriers daily.
• Make decisions on behalf of clients and follow specific customer requirements.
• Apply industry knowledge and critical thinking skills to daily responsibilities.
• Build great relationships with customers, responding promptly and following up on issues until resolved.
• Collaborate in a work environment that encourages learning and process improvement across all departments.
• Contribute to other projects and initiatives as needed.
