Logistics Coordinator
On-site: Ontario, CA
The Logistics Coordinator will play a key role in ensuring the timely, accurate, and efficient movement of goods through our supply chain. This position is responsible for coordinating shipments, maintaining inventory accuracy, communicating with vendors and carriers, and managing logistics documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily shipments, including scheduling pickups and deliveries, tracking orders, and updating stakeholders on status.
- Collaborate with carriers, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve any issues that arise during transit.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and product locations to ensure data integrity.
- Prepare and manage all required documentation, including bills of lading, shipping manifests, and customs paperwork.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts, reconciling discrepancies as needed.
- Monitor shipping costs and recommend cost-saving opportunities or alternative carriers as needed.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies.
- Analyze and report on key performance metrics, providing insights to optimize logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of experience in logistics, shipping, or supply chain roles.
- Strong understanding of shipping procedures, including scheduling domestic transportation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage vendor relationships and internal communications.
- High attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
