The Role
- Plan and manage the transportation of Primient products to customers efficiently and safely
- Coordinate load planning within the TMS system
- Manage capacity with asset-based carriers and freight brokers
- Analyze delivery methods and schedules to minimize costs and maximize customer satisfaction
- Build and maintain relationships with carriers and external locations
- Perform routing and cost analysis
- Negotiate rates and manage accessorial charges
- Maintain quality service and address customer service issues
- Collaborate with other departments on routing changes and freight discrepancies
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent, additional education preferred
- Experience in transportation and logistics
- Proficiency in TMS systems and Microsoft Excel
- Ability to analyze and solve problems independently
- Detail-oriented with strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work within tight deadlines and in a team environment
