At a Glance

Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Logistics Coordinator to join the Electrical Wiring Systems Cablofil Team in Mascoutah, IL. The Logistics Coordinator ensures that all aspects of outbound shipments are properly maintained as well as assists the Sr. Logistics Coordinator.

What Will You Do?

  • Prepare delivery tickets for distribution to the floor.
  • Process shipments and prepare shipping documents in SAP, such as Bills of Lading, Packing List, Shipping Labels.
  • Obtain rate quotes for LTL/TL shipments.
  • Schedule reconsignments as needed.
  • Assist other departments with requests. i.e. proof of delivery, copies of shipping documents, estimated freight rates, weights & dimensions.
  • Schedule Carriers.
  • Maintain records of shipments in SAP software and/or S Drive.
  • Process all outbound and inbound subcontractor/vendor shipments.
  • Assist with investigation of shipping errors, as needed.
  • Download and maintain shipping photos weekly.
  • Additional responsibilities may arise through the development of the above listed items.
Qualifications

Required Skills

Education: High School Diploma.

Experience: One year of experience in shipping and/ or receiving.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:

  • Must be a highly motivated self starter, with the ability to interact with individuals at all levels within the organization. Must be able to work independently as well as within a variety of teams.
  • Requires strong organizational and time management skills, close attention to detail and be able to effectively handle multiple priorities.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills and be able to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Strong computer skills, proficient with e-mail, word processing, spreadsheet software, and meeting management software. Ability to use internet and web-based resources efficiently and effectively. Working knowledge of ERP required, SAP a plus. Knowledge of the trucking industry, carriers, their requirements, routes, rates, and procedures.
