We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator with a strong background in both domestic (USA) and international logistics, particularly in ocean freight and container shipping. The ideal candidate will manage the entire logistics process, including rate negotiation, shipment scheduling, data entry, and real-time communication with customers. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient and timely delivery of goods while maintaining cost-effective shipping solutions. Responsibilities: Domestic & International Logistics Management: Obtain and negotiate shipping rates for both domestic and international shipments. Schedule shipments for pickup from the facility and delivery to customers, ensuring timely and efficient transportation. Coordinate and manage schedules for shipments, tracking progress and updating relevant stakeholders. Ocean Freight & Export Shipment Management: Arrange bookings for ocean freight and export shipments, handling all necessary documentation, including Draft Bills of Lading (BLs) and Waybill releases. Create and manage shipment schedules, ensuring accurate and timely deliveries. Track shipments in real-time, providing updates to customers and internal teams as necessary. Data Entry & Documentation: Extract information from Bills of Lading and enter it into Excel files for record-keeping and analysis. Ensure all shipment schedules are accurately documented and easily accessible. Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to cross-check and confirm shipment pricing, ensuring all costs are accurately accounted for. Renew sales agreements with suppliers, negotiating pricing, and updating spreadsheets accordingly. Save and organize pricing information in the correct files for easy retrieval and reference. Customer Communication: Provide real-time updates to customers regarding their shipments, ensuring transparency and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. Requirements Proven experience in logistics coordination, with a strong understanding of both domestic (USA) and international shipping processes. Expertise in ocean freight and export shipment management, including booking arrangements, Draft BLs, and Waybill releases. Proficiency in data entry and Excel, with a keen eye for detail. Experience in negotiating pricing and renewing sales agreements with suppliers. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with the capability to manage multiple shipments and schedules simultaneously. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to provide clear updates to customers and collaborate effectively with internal teams. Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and ensure the smooth flow of logistics operations.
