The New Sales Logistics Coordinator at the Micrologistics Center (MLC) is responsible for managing outbound shipments, ensuring smooth operations alongside logistics and coordinating with various stakeholders. The role involves creating Bills of Lading (BOLs), coordinating deliveries with the logistics department, and inventory management. This position requires strong communication and organizational skills to work effectively with the warehouse team, sales department, logistics, finance, other dealers, and Raymond Logistics.
Key Responsibilities:
- BOL Management: Create all Bills of Lading (BOLs) for core sales shipments including:
- Shipments from the MLC
- Shipments from other Malin branches
- Purchases from the Raymond Dealer Network
- Inbound shipments
- Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels on the floor by facilitating daily meetings with the warehouse team and sales coordination to ensure timely delivery of equipment to customers.
- Forecasting: Work closely with sales coordination to forecast units arriving at the MLC, utilizing DVR research.
- Inter-Dealer & Logistics Coordination: Partner with other dealers and Raymond Logistics to facilitate direct shipments to customers within Malin territory as needed.
- Out-of-Territory Shipments: Coordinate all direct shipments outside of Malin's territory, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
- Billing: Ensure all shipment files are sent to billing upon dispatch.
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in logistics and shipment coordination
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external teams
- Familiarity with creating and managing BOLs
- Knowledge of the material handling industry is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required
