The Texas All Female Rally 2024 is a premier event increasing the visibility of women in motorcycling, featuring a range of exciting women-owned activities, networking opportunities for women riders/non-riders of all levels.We are seeking one (1) Logistics Director to plan virtually and work the event on site anytime between October 2-5, 2024. Logistics Director oversees all logistical operations, including planning, coordination, and execution of activities related to transportation, venue setup, equipment, and supplies. Overview We are looking for dedicated volunteers to join our Logistics and Operations Team for the TX All Female Rally. As part of this team, you will play a crucial role in managing event logistics, coordinating setup and teardown, ensuring venue compliance, overseeing technology and audiovisual requirements, and ensuring a smooth and successful event experience for all participants.Responsibilities Setup and Teardown Assist with the setup and teardown of event spaces, including booths, stages, seating areas, and signage.Ensure that all elements are arranged according to the event plan and timeline.Workshop and Session Support If the rally includes workshops, panels, or sessions, help set up rooms, manage attendance, and assist speakers or facilitators.Ensure participants have a positive learning experience by providing logistical support.Cleanup and Recycling After the event concludes, assist with cleanup and recycling efforts to ensure the venue is left clean and organized.Collect trash, recycling materials, dismantle equipment, and return the space to its original condition.Equipment Rental and Coordination Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and setup.Transportation and Parking Coordinate transportation and parking arrangements for attendees, exhibitors, and staff.Ensure smooth traffic flow and accessibility to the venue.Facilities Management Ensure facilities are accessible, safe, and compliant with regulations.Address any logistical issues or emergencies that may arise during the event.Technology and Audiovisual Support Manage technology and audiovisual requirements, including sound systems, projectors, and screens.Troubleshoot technical issues and provide support to presenters and performers.Food and Beverage Services If applicable, oversee food and beverage services, including catering, refreshments, and dining areas.Ensure a seamless and enjoyable dining experience for attendees.Qualifications Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Attention to detail and a proactive approach to logistics management.Previous experience in event operations or related fields is a plus.Physical ability to lift and move equipment as needed.#J-18808-Ljbffr
