Title: Logistics Engineer

Location: Summerville, SC

Salary: $92,000-$100,000

Hours: M-F day shift (starting around 7/8am)

Day to Day:

Insight Global is seeking a Logistics Engineer to design and troubleshoot material flow to optimize productivity and limit costs associated with material movements for incoming, storage, and outbound transportation of materials.

Requirements:

- Bachelor of Science Degree in engineering is required!

- Experience working in a high-volume industrial manufacturing environment (preferably automotive)

- Prior experience working with ERP Systems (SAP preferred)

- Proficient in Microsoft Excel

Plusses:

- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles, material handling, and warehouse management

- Prior experience in Automotive industry (German or European OEM Suppliers)

- Project Management experience

- Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with other teams on the floor

- Knowledge in basic 2D Modeling software
