ManTech is seeking a Logistics/Facilities Support Specialist to support a customer facility located on MCB Quantico.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
This position requires expertise to support the receipt and management of all facilities maintenance requirements and provide planning and oversight support to building and equipment inspections and testing
Manage workplace health, safety, and environmental related considerations
Support the development and recommendations pertaining to planning and execution of maintenance and minor construction
Analyze and identify faults or problems in equipment and machinery
Ensure all facility support equipment remains functional
Operate Building Automation System (BAS). Check BAS daily for any faults or troubles. Elevate problems that can not be fixed on the spot to government POC
Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of DoD, Navy, and Marine Corps Supply and Acquisition principles, procedures, techniques, guidance, and practices.
Record property in an approved Accountable Property System of Record (APSR) and retain Key Supporting Documents (KSDs)
Provide KSD's for newly acquired/requisitioned, transferred, or disposed equipment for accurate record keeping and retention
Receipt, accept, turn-in or request transfer of government property
Request investigative or adjustment action for equipment abuse or loss to the Personal Property Officer
Submit supply discrepancy reports (as required)
Submit disposition requests for assets that are obsolete or no longer required
Perform warehouse operations
Other duties as required
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and at least 4 years' experience. A total of 8 years' experience without a degree.
Ability to work on several products concurrently while managing competing deadlines
Must keep all stakeholders (customers, peers, leads) informed of activities, to include impediments, bottlenecks, dependencies, and other activities that might affect due dates and milestones
Maintains contact with the customer about project progress and deadlines
Must communicate effectively verbally and in writing
Thorough knowledge of MS-Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
Preferred Qualifications:
3-5 years related experience and be familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures
Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan maintenance services, perform inspections, document findings, and provide feedback to government POC
Proficient in SharePoint
Experience with the Custodian Asset Report (CAR) to account for property assigned in the DPAS or Consolidated Memorandum Receipt (CMR) for property assigned in GCSS-MC. Assist with reconciliations of the CAR and CMR
