DutiesServes as the senior staff officer for all logistics management for a major, highly visible development program in its early stages of projectmanagement.Provide weapon system product support subject matter expertise to the PEO in areas such as project planning, project management,contracting and logistics requirements.Plans directs and manages integrated logistics support (ILS) for PEO system(s); reviews plans and all logistics support activities; reviews materielfielding plans and manages fielding activities.Provide guidance and assistance in the evaluation/review of complex Strategic Logistics Program problems/issues and evaluates informationcollected and recommend courses of action.Responsible for the substantial coordination and analysis required to integrate all of the technical, administrative, and other functions into acomprehensive logistical support program.Analyze logistics programs to develop and evaluate long- and short-range support plans and policies.Requirements Conditions of EmploymentAppointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.Selectee must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Additional information about transcripts is in this document.Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience at the NH-03 pay band which includes 1) Establishing logistics framework for accomplishment of weapon system program objectives; 2) providing logistics support and technical expertise to resolve problems in areas such as high priority logistics, supply, distribution, and service and, 3) developing logistics plans in support of assigned programs.
