DutiesServes as the senior staff officer for all logistics management for a major, highly visible development program in its early stages of projectmanagement.Provide weapon system product support subject matter expertise to the PEO in areas such as project planning, project management,contracting and logistics requirements.Plans directs and manages integrated logistics support (ILS) for PEO system(s); reviews plans and all logistics support activities; reviews materielfielding plans and manages fielding activities.Provide guidance and assistance in the evaluation/review of complex Strategic Logistics Program problems/issues and evaluates informationcollected and recommend courses of action.Responsible for the substantial coordination and analysis required to integrate all of the technical, administrative, and other functions into acomprehensive logistical support program.Analyze logistics programs to develop and evaluate long- and short-range support plans and policies.Requirements Conditions of EmploymentAppointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.Selectee must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position.
