Logistics Management Specialist, JourneymanS2Technologies is currently looking for a Logistics Management Specialist to support the Product Manager at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. The selected candidate is an integral team member reporting directly to the Logistics Chief and Product Team Lead. The ideal candidate will have a broad range of ILS responsibilities covering the full spectrum of Acquisition Logistics support for our client's family of Radar systems.The position requires direct communication with all Product Teams, Functional Sections, the ILSC, Radar Units, Fielding Coordinators, and fielding/Training Team members, TYAD & other Depots, AMC, HQDA, ASAALT, OEMs, and more.The selected candidate will have extensive experience working as a member of a team but also can work independently and is a pro-active, energetic, assertive individual willing to do what is necessary to exceed the leadership's expectations across the full ILS support functions for assigned Radar systems.Individuals must be a self-starter with the ability to function autonomously, with little or no direct supervision. Must be able to communicate clearly and accurately (both verbally and in writing) complex logistics and support concepts.Additional Duties, Responsibilities and Skills:Knowledge and experience working with and drafting Acquisition Logistics Documentation such as:Life Cycle Sustainment Plan (LCSP)Materiel Fielding Plan (MFP)Materiel Fielding AgreementsMateriel ReleaseItem Unique Identification (IUID)Modification Work Orders (MWOs)Basis of Issue Plans (BOIP)Type ClassificationMaintenance PlanningKnowledge and experience with sustainment actions such as Interim Contractor Support (ICS), Repair and Return Process, Spares Support Essential Repair Parts Support Lists (ERPSL), and Organic Army Supply and Transportation System is a plus.Minimum Requirements:Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 4 years of relevant Acquisition Integrated Logistics Support experience supporting Army or DoD weapon systems. Twelve years of relevant Acquisition Integrated Logistics Support experience supporting Army or DoD weapons systems can be substituted for a bachelor's degree.Must currently have an active and transferrable DoD security clearance.Must have a fundamental understanding of military organizational dynamics.Must possess working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and use of Government procurement and inventory databases.#J-18808-Ljbffr
