* You will assist in developing the support risk mitigation strategy that is documented in the program Risk Management Plan.

* You will serve as a logistics advisor for technical cost evaluations of the logistics aspects of contractor proposals.

* You will align product support timeliness with the design and major program events in the program schedule.

* You will assist in planning the testing of product support, evaluating the results against the operational requirements and predetermined measurable metrics.

* This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.

Qualifications

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-4 grade level or NH-1 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Assisting with the analysis and evaluation of the supportability aspects of each proposed design alternative and recommend the necessary actions to change the design to improve supportability.
