  • Oversee activities directly related to warehouse operations, utilizing Lean tools and methodologies.
  • Demonstrate and enforce an environment of safety.
  • Support all safety programs.
  • Ensure all best practice procedures are followed in all areas of responsibility.
  • Demonstrates the ability to create a positive employee relations environment which results in high performing teams.
  • Prepare and maintain records of all inventory.
  • Establish and implement departmental policies, goals, objectives and procedures; conferring with senior leadership, staff members and others within the organization as necessary.
  • Review financial statements and reports, and other performance data to measure productivity and goal achievement, and to determine areas needing cost reduction and program improvement.
  • Establish processes to ensure the highest quality and most efficient deliveries
  • Conduct/supervise cycle counts.
  • Ensure all headcount and labor hour goals of the warehouse are met.
  • Provide guidance and direction to subordinates, including setting performance standards and monitoring performance.
  • Plan and direct activities of others.
  • Create developmental opportunities for direct reports, as well as for their subordinates.Implementation of principles throughout warehouse operations (5S, visual management, Kaizen, etc.)

Develop, implement, and monitor all logistics/warehousing management systems and activities efficiently, including inbound/outbound logistics and factory-to-factory logistics

Flexible to deal with issues that arise outside of normal business hours.

Develop and maintain good working relationships between warehouse departments, traffic and human resources.

  • Job requirements:

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.

Minimum 3-5 years related experience in the field of distribution/inventory control

Shipping and Inventory Control experience

APICS certification preferred

Demonstrated knowledge of productivity measurement tools

Preferred working knowledge of policies and procedures

Previous experience managing exempt level Supervisors/Managers

Working knowledge of ERP/MRP, and Microsoft products

Successful management experience involving multiple areas of responsibility with Lean Six Sigma certs

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $110,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
