Quickparts is looking for a Logistics Manager to lead and optimize our logistics operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness across all shipping methods. The Logistics Manager will strategically optimize our shipping routes based on customer lead times, negotiate with carriers to secure the best rates, and ensure accurate billing. This role demands a high level of ownership and a data-driven approach to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness across freight, LTL, and parcel shipments. The ideal candidate will collaborate with various departments to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods and significantly impact our logistics operations. In this role, you will:
  • Lead efforts to increase efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness across freight, LTL, and parcel shipments.
  • Strategically optimize the company's use of best routes based on customer lead time.
  • Negotiate with carriers to secure the best rates and ensure accurate billing.
  • Utilize advanced logistics software to monitor and manage shipping operations effectively.
  • Analyze complex logistics data to identify areas for improvement and implement strategic solutions.
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Maintain and nurture strong relationships with carriers, suppliers, and customers.
You might be a good fit if you have/are:
  • 10+ years of experience in logistics management, with a strong focus on freight, LTL, and parcel shipments.
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge of logistics software and data analysis tools.
  • Proficiency with advanced route optimization tools and techniques.
  • Thorough knowledge of industry regulations and standards.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong leadership abilities with a commitment to teamwork.
  • Exceptionally attentive to detail with outstanding organizational skills.
  • Highly self-motivated with a data-driven mindset.
