Job SummaryThe Logistics Manager supervises and coordinates the activities of workers responsible for picking product and preparing it for same day shipping, both nationally and internationally, via expedited carrier services. They ensure smooth operation of the entire shipping department, and theirmain responsibilities include coordinating the activities of employees engaged in material handling, shipping, storage, and transportation.ResponsibilitiesUse of internal software programs to produce, route, and print shipping documents.Directing flow of produced goods from multiple buildings and/or vendors.Working with various carriers to schedule trailer drop off and rotation for shipping launches.Working with production to determine available production counts for shipping to meet delivery commitments.Updating tracking reports in multiple platforms including various platforms used by our clients.Dispatch of Outform Drivers and/or Courier Service.Freight Billing - write and review all invoices for approval and processing by Accounts Payable.Managing shipping personnel at both buildings to ensure proper coverage.Willingness to take calls or resolve shipping needs outside of normal business hours.Additional responsibilities as needed.QualificationsMinimum of three (3) years' experience in manufacturing or related Managerial/Leadership role.Effective communication and comprehension skills; verbal and written.Familiar with UPS and FedEx software.Knowledge in retail compliance.Strong leadership abilities.Computer proficient.Possess strong math skills.Possess excellent problem-solving skills.Ability to function independently, as well as multitask and work as a team.Knowledge in the creation of all shipping documentation such as:Bills of LadingCommercial InvoicesPacking ListsShipper DeclarationsUSMCA CertificationsClaims processRMA#J-18808-Ljbffr
