Standard Concrete Products, a leading producer of Prestressed and Precast concrete

products, has a career opportunity for a Logistics Manager at our Savannah, GA facility.

The Logistics Manager will oversee all logistical aspects of

prestressed concrete products. This role involves coordinating with suppliers, managing

inventory, and ensuring the timely delivery of products to clients. You will leverage your

expertise to optimize logistical operations and enhance the efficiency of the supply chain.

Responsibilities

 Supervise and train workers who receive, store, test, and ship

products to enhance operational efficiency and safety.

 Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards during storage, loading

, and transport of products.

 Create a Bill of Ladens (BOL) in the accounting system ensuring accuracy,

completeness, and compliance with all required DOT paperwork.

 Review all BOLs weekly ensuring accuracy and forward to corporate

Accounting for final review and billing to customer.

 Review all invoices from haulers to ensure accuracy and completeness.

 Coordinate with customers on shipping needs.

 Coordinate with haulers to schedule shipping, ensuring the accuracy of freight quote

and valid Certificate of Insurance is on file.

 Other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience

 Bachelor's degree in business, Production Management, Construction

Management or Logistics preferred but not required.

 Minimum of 3 years experience in logistics management, preferably in the pre-

stress/pre-cast industry.

 Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

 Excellent analytical skills

 Excellent time management

 Regulatory compliance- DOT, FMSCA, USCG
