Logistics Manager

General objective of the role

As a Logistics Manager at Ecorobotix Inc., you will be assisting with the supply chain and logistics operations for the company's US-based operations. Your duties will include re-supplying parts inventory, receiving and storing incoming shipments, preparing outgoing orders, and coordinating with shipping companies to ensure timely and efficient deliveries. Maintaining accurate inventory levels and ensuring consistency across the stock system will be essential to your role.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the accuracy and consistency of the inventory management including cycle counts, regular audits and updates in the inventory management system.

• Monitor and re-supply the parts inventory.

• Organize and maintain the warehouse space for efficient stock handling and storage.

• Receive incoming shipments, inspect them for quality and accuracy, and log them into the inventory system.

• Book shipments with freight or shipping companies, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.

• Coordinate with shipping companies for both domestic and international shipments, handling any customs or documentation requirements for international orders.

• Prepare shipping documents and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.

• Oversee the packaging and labeling of outbound shipments.

• Maintain accurate records of shipments and inventory.

• Coordinate with sales, customer service, and logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.

• Communicate regularly with shipping companies to track shipments and resolve any delivery issues.

• Handle after-sales shipping needs, including processing returns and exchanges.

• Adhere to safety standards and best practices (OSHA safety compliance).

• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance accuracy.

Qualifications & Skills

• Associates degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred, but equivalent experience is also considered.

• Proven experience of 2 or more years in logistics, inventory management, shipping coordination, or supply chain role.

• Ocean freight, air freight, and LTL experience are required.

• Familiarity with domestic and international shipping requirements, including customs documentation.

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced startup environment.

• Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• Spanish speaking a plus.

• Ability to lift heavy objects and operate warehouse equipment.

• OSHA Forklift certification.

• Passport required for international travel.
