Logistics Associate - Chaska, MN 1 st shift- 40 hours Summary This is an office based position.The Logistics Associate will support the North America Logistics Operations organization. This includes, but is not limited to, the coordination between and daily communication with freight forwarders, manufacturing plants, material planners, customer service, sales, and 3PL warehouses for domestic and international shipments. What You'll Do:
- Day-to-day support of our local third-party distribution center's finished goods shipping procedures. The associate will also cross-train and support other distribution centers under our business in North America.
- Optimize scheduling of full truckload and ocean shipments to ensure timely flow of goods from the local warehouse.
- Outbound/inbound monitoring and tracking tied to the 3PL warehouse, as to ensure any delays within the supply chain are communicated to Manufacturing Plant Planners, Logistics, and Business Unit Leads.
- Investigate delays and exceptions with cross functional teams to ensure escalations are monitored in a timely manner, and that our supply chain has accurate, reliable, and real time visibility to our inbound shipments.
- Assist in cycle count entries to meet SOX requirements.
- Research, analyze, and review KPI metrics, E&O, DOH and provide recommendations to support distribution goals.
- Utilize the SAP ERP system for warehouse management support and business reporting.
- Pull and submit data for our end of quarter checklists and financial reporting.
- Assist the Logistics team as needed to support daily and quarterly commitments.

Outstanding Candidates Will Have:
- Basic knowledge of finished goods distribution and terminology.
- Excellent communication skills to participate in internal and external partner discussions.
- Experience with PC and Microsoft 365 applications.
- Experience with SAP Operating System of 3 years + experience preferred.
- Experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Transportation, and Warehousing of 3 years + experience preferred.
