Join our team. #CloroxIsThePlaceYour role at Clorox:The Operations Leader is responsible for supporting the department manager in leading and coordinating the plant supply chain for the operating department and is accountable for their team results. In this role, the Ops Leader will serve as a manufacturing generalist  for all department operating team members focusing on daily management and coordination of safety, quality, costs, raw material management, customer service, people development, performance management, continuous improvement and Operational Excellence activities.In this role, you will:Lead and coordinate resources needed to drive daily operations (safety, production, quality) and assure follow-up actions are identified and completed.Ensure that effective daily managing systems are in place to drive to root cause and process centered interventions.Drive operating results through department teams and star coordinator/team interaction and engagement.Achieve current week/month/year operating targets in safety, OEE, costs, product and service quality, and capital and inventory management. Helps set process and workflow.TRACC owner of modules: Operational Alignment, Health/Safety/Environmental, Teamwork, Visual Management, & User-Driven Maintenance.Handles requests and issues that require escalation beyond frontline and team resources.Ensure and nurture a safe working environment.Responsible for leading and developing teams and driving daily operations engagement and accountability.Foster development of the Team Lead roles to ensure growth and development of the individuals and effectiveness of the role in total.Accountable to drive results using the Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) process. This includes being responsible for the team including the management of action plans, scorecards, & gap analysis.Provide advisory coaching and mentoring to team members.Lead sustainability process efforts (Centerlines, CILs, Abnormality tracking, other) to maintain and improve daily operations at world class standards.What we look for:3 years of operational experience.2 years of leadership experience.Bachelors' degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience in a manufacturing setting.Logistics, warehouse, and/or transportation experience.The position will require the candidate to be in a manufacturing environment with rotating equipment, elevated surfaces, temperature variations, etc.The position will require rotating to a night shift schedule (~12-10p) one week a month.Forklift or similar equipment experience is highly desirable for effectively managing material handling and inventory in a manufacturing logistics lead role.Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.Preferred Requirements:Operational technical experience.Team facilitation and consensus building working through engagement of various levels of the organization.Experience using a warehouse management system (SAP EWM).Excellent oral/written communication and people skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Desire to move upward and relocate within Clorox.Exposure to World Class Manufacturing, Lean, or 6 Sigma is a plus.Willingness and ability to work evenings and weekends as business needs dictate.Workplace type: OnsiteWe seek out and celebrate diverse backgrounds and experiences.
