The Operations Leader is responsible for supporting the department manager in leading and coordinating the plant supply chain for the operating department and is accountable for their team results. In this role, the Ops Leader will serve as a manufacturing generalist for all department operating team members focusing on daily management and coordination of safety, quality, costs, raw material management, customer service, people development, performance management, continuous improvement and Operational Excellence activities. In this role, you will:Lead and coordinate resources needed to drive daily operations (safety, production, quality) and assure follow-up actions are identified and completed. Ensure that effective daily managing systems are in place to drive to root cause and process centered interventions. Drive operating results through department teams and star coordinator/team interaction and engagement.
