STE F-216, Santa Fe Springs, CA 90670 Work Hours: 9:00~18:00 Posting #: 400####### _ Logistics Operator @ Santa Fe Springs, CA JD Details Job Function/Description: • Receive and review shipping instructions from customer and ensure that all documents are accurate and complete. • Prepare shipping documents and other related paperwork, such as Arrival Notices and ISF information. • Monitor shipment status, including tracking and tracing, and report any delays to customer throughout the transit process. • Provide customers with updates on the status of their shipments. • Monitor shipments to ensure they are delivered on time and in compliance with regulations. • Manage relationships with selected drayage/trucking carriers/customs broker and make urgent communication in case of emergency. • Provide customer service, including responding to customer inquiries, and resolving customer complaints. • Working closely with product/pricing/sales team/overseas branches to respond all rate inquires and provide rate quote accordingly • Keep records of all transactions of shipments, and maintain customer accounts. • Develop and implement strategies to optimize operational processes. • Perform other job-related duties as required. Qualifications: • 3+ years of Freight Forwarding operation or import/export logistics relevant experience • Strong understanding of international transportation / freight forwarding industry • Bachelor's Degree preferred, High school GED required • Bilingual skills in Korean & English written and verbal, are preferred. • bility to quickly grasp situations to make decisions to ensure problems are resolved and corrected • bility to build trustworthy relationships with vendors/customers, and experience with vendor management • Proficient with Outlook, and Microsoft Office applications - PowerPoint, Word, especially Excel with v-lookups and pivot tables • Excellent problem-solving skills • Excellent presentation, communication, and organizational skills including effective written and verbal communications skills to communicate with various levels of the organization
