Job Type Full-time Description Summary: The Logistics Outbound Shipping Clerk will be responsible for effectively managing communication between customers, transportation carriers and the Company. The individual will provide daily support through the answering of phones; processing BOL's, signing out drivers, entering in/out times in one network, filing of BOL'S and creating UPS tracking numbers for shipments. Responsible for answering phone calls and providing customer assistance Responsible for correctly signing out drivers Accountable for processing all BOL's Responsible for accurately communicating all carrier arrivals to DC supervision. Responsible for entering in and out times in one network. Actively maintain Logistics logs and keep information up to date File BOL'S in number sequence for easy access if that shipment in needed. Need to create UPS tracking numbers within UPS shipping network. Participates in the process of keeping the shipping office in efficient working order Requirements Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and/or Experience Ideally incumbent will possess a minimum of a High School Diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Computer Skills To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Lotus Notes Contact Management systems; Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet software and Microsoft Word Processing software.
