As a Logistics Representative, you will play a crucial role in coordinating and executing all aspects of logistics operations to ensure smooth and efficient delivery of goods and services. Key Duties:
- Coordinate logistics activities, including transportation, shipment planning, and tracking.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products and services.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and oversee inventory management processes.
- Monitor and optimize logistics costs, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising quality or timelines.
- Maintain compliance with all applicable regulations and standards related to logistics operations.
- Continuously evaluate and improve logistics processes to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Handle any logistics-related issues or delays promptly, taking appropriate actions to resolve them.
- Provide regular reports and updates on logistics operations to the management team.
- Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements in logistics management.
Required/Desired Skills, Experience, and EducationRequired Skills, Experience, and Education:
- Due to facility security requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for consideration at this time.
- Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph clearance.
- 5 or more years of related experience.
- Proven experience in logistics coordination.
- Strong knowledge of logistics operations, including transportation, inventory management, and shipment planning.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in using logistics management software or systems.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to adapt to fast-paced environments and work well under pressure.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Skills, Experience, and Education:
- Experience working for a government or defense contractor.
