Job Title: Logistics Coordinator (Sales)Department: CorporateLocation: Charlotte, NCFLSA Status: ExemptPosition Summary: Serves as a liaison to customers and internal sales by managing customer forecasting and order entry for OEM customers. This includes the administration of supply of products and services to OEM customers.General Purpose: Support sales efforts to Original Equipment Manufacturers.Position Responsibilities:
- Solicit and process forecasts/purchase order from OEM customers
- Enter sales orders, ASN, and invoicing of OE customer shipments
- Coordinate cross-functionally with warehouse on shipments for OEM customers
- Maintain and reconcile inventory records at consignment locations
- Coordinate supply / receipts with demand / forecasts - orders
- Generate mounting and filling orders for OEM customers
- Apprise department management of changes in forecasts, orders and anticipated shortfalls in a timely manner
- Generate reports as needed for inventory and service analysis
- Light travel may be required
- Special projects as required
- Provide backup to others in departments
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years' experience in supply chain, material management, or business to business customer service.
- Knowledge of shipping and logistics is required. Alternatively, Customer Service experience in a Business-to-Business environment useful.
- BS or associate's in business (or alternative) is preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze data.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Previous work in SAP or other ERP systems are strongly preferred.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Nonessential Skills and Experience: Sales experience and product knowledge.
