Fairmont Logistics is seeking a positive, goal-oriented Logistics Sales Representative to join our logistics sales team in Charleston, SC. This person will have to opportunity to be a cornerstone piece of a new office, helping to set a winning culutre and be a part of growth opportunities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing a growing book of business and providing value to customers within a logistics market. The responsibilities will propsecting and collaborating with new customers, providing exellend service and value to our clients, and contributing to an awesome office/team culture. This person should be a self-starter and highly motivated. They should be familiar with inside sales processes, and have familiarity with CRM's, overcoming objections, and closing. Logistics experience is a plus Fairmont Logistics is a growing company within the market, and we are looking for a fun, creative, and driven Sales Executive to match our company's growth strategy and high-energy teams. If you strive to contribute to, and be rewarded for, contributing to a company's success and celebrating that success read further Key Responsibilities: - Proactively prospect and contact potential customers - Be a CULTURE driver Have fun Bring a positive mindset to the team daily. - Coachability is key, and becoming a master of your craft (logistics and sales) - Being customer-focused - Manage customer accounts and maintain strong relationships - Conribute to and collaborate with operational teams - Assist in the hiring of a growing sales team - Maintain a positive work environment - Learning key platforms including CRM, transportation, and prospecting tools - Utilize CRM tools to track sales activities - Negotiate contracts and close deals with clients - Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities - Implement operational best practices in logistics, and positively take coaching from management Qualifications - Proven experience in a sales - Experience in handling objections in an inside sales environment - Coachability and Positivity - Excellent customer service and communication skills - Logististic experience is a plus - Ability to analyze data and logistics industry trends - Demonstrated success in managing growing book of business - Prompt, professional, and a leader by example - Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics or a related field or equivalent experience - 2 years in a sales role This position will report the Sales Director/Branch Manager in Charleston, SC. The Charleston, SC office is a new and growing office in the organization, and will give the benefit of having excellent growth opportunity. This position is on-site.
